One Time Pad

One Time Pad is believed to be unbreakable encryption.  This program uses the Fourmilab Switzerland One-Time Pad Generator Program.

Further instructions:

To play with the program, create the pads using the same password in the password boxes.   You can then encrypt test messages and immediately decrypt the message back to the origional text.   If you encrypt two separate messages without decrypting the first, an out of sequence message will appear.   A new pad will have to be produced and the message resent should the pad become out of sequence.

All password fields are deleted after the 'Create new OTP' window closes.  The Scramble parameters will be deleted if the Clear check box is checked.

Suggested pad creation method:
When the two communicating parties need to create new pads, one should send the other a new long 'Shared password'.   Both parties can then use the new 'Shared password' to create their new pads.  Changing Send and Receive passwords can also be done for greater security.  It is important to never use the same pads twice.
